Oracle HCM Cloud Consultant
Job Purpose
The Global Technology HR team works in a fast-paced and agile environment. In this role, you will provide senior level functional and technical consultation for the global HCM SaaS Cloud solution with a specialized focus on Payroll, Time & Labor and Absence Management. The team is highly collaborative and there will be opportunities to work in other areas of the system. The position is an opportunity to own your work and take initiative without being siloed. This role has room to grow as the team recently completed the implementation.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
1. Provide functional and technical support for assigned modules: Payroll, Time and Labor, Global Absence:
- Research and troubleshoot issues related to earnings/deductions, processing errors with pay calculations and reconciliations
- Liaise with ADP to troubleshoot issues with interface files under the Value Add model.
- Create, maintain and troubleshoot Fast Formulas
- Create, maintain and troubleshoot BIP reports
- Investigate functional and technical issues and generate solutions which may include system modifications, enhancements or new procedure
- Gather and document business requirements
- Negotiate and influence decisions and timelines based on effort to reward analysis
- Perform fit-gap analysis
- Design current and future state business processes to deliver on requirements and create an excellent end-user experience
- Configure solution using established best practices
- Unit test, regression test, and lead end-to-end test to include users
- Deploy the solution and determine training strategy
- Understands and communicates impacts of a given project to key stakeholders.
- Review release notes to include tax update notes for assigned areas and evaluate for impacts to current/future functionality
- Evaluate enhancements for applicability, identify opportunities to improve business processes and/or end-user experience and maximize the investment in the application
- Regression test and validate key processes in advance of production release, mitigate any issues found to minimize impact on the business, work with Oracle Support to research and resolve identified issues
- Consult with HR Technology leadership to understand and influence overall HR technical strategy, must be able to sell a solution and understand the entire impact
- Provide expert level input to HCM functional/technical analysts and leadership
- Collaborate with leadership, business process owners and team members to deliver well-designed, implemented solutions and outstanding customer service
- Research and recommend best practices in leveraging Oracle ERP technology to meet business needs as well as scaling and automating for volume and growth

1. Expert level using Oracle HCM tools (Design Studio, Application Composer, Page Composer, Workflow – Approval Rules/Notifications)
2. Expert level using Oracle OTBI, BIPublisher, XML, SQL
3. Knowledge of Oracle HCM security design including AOR and custom criteria.
4. Ability to comprehend and apply Oracle White Papers and supplement the gaps
5. Must be resourceful in obtaining knowledge and identifying solutions to complex problems
6. Ability to handle complex projects and constantly reprioritize based on business needs
7. Collaborative and organized teammate, who builds positive meaningful relationships and trust
8. Ability to communicate complex technical issues/solutions in a simple, logical and impactful manner
9. Experience testing HCM application instances to successfully validate application setups, including input to test plans, test scenarios, and test scripts
10. Strong business process experience and acumen
11. Detailed, process-oriented individual, with strong project management skills, who has the flexibility to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic organization
